Listings Deadline: Wednesday at noon for the following Wednesday's paper.

Listings are a service we provide to our readers on a space available basis. We cannot guarantee that they will be printed. All content is selected at the editorial staff's discretion. Ongoing listings need monthly renewals via fax (719-577-4107), email or re-listing on website.

Correctly-sized, pleasing images will increase the chance that your listing will be featured. Submit digital artwork in JPG format at 400K or larger. Give us a choice of several images and attach an artist statement and bio. The more information we have, the better. (Please place multiple images or documents in a single Zip or StuffIt file.)

Listings FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

When will I see my event in the paper?
    Because we get hundreds of e-mails each day and have only so much space in our print edition, most events do not appear in the paper until the week that the event occurs. We will include events scheduled for later as space and time permit.

I can't find my event online. Where is it?
    If you submitted an event that happens more than two weeks out, then it probably hasn't been entered into the system yet. Listings don't automatically go live when you submit them – they are edited for space and clarity and entered into a database by Indy edit staff.
    Also, make sure you submitted the event before deadline: Wednesday at noon for the following Wednesday's paper. We cannot accept late listings, even for online-only postings.
    The best way to search for an event is by keyword, leaving the selections for date, category and neighborhood open.

I made a mistake with my listing. How can I fix it?
    Remember, listings don't automatically go live when you submit them, so you can either resubmit the listing with a note in the description to disregard the previous submission or you can send us an e-mail at with clarification.

How do I get an ongoing event in the paper?
    Ongoing events are listed the same way as one-time events; just fill out the "Multi-Day Event" option in the listing submission form or make note of it in the listing description. If you have no End Date for your listing (i.e., it happens at 4 p.m. every Tuesday, until further notice), you may leave those fields open, but you will have to resubmit the listing once a month for continued inclusion. Please notify us of any changes or errors as time goes on.

I have an announcement about my business. Can I get that into listings?
    We do not list business announcements, nor do we post business-oriented get-togethers. For an ad, contact the front desk (719/577-4545) to get hooked up with one our ad reps.
